| n this paper a qualitative analysis was given to reveal the connection between the two drawbacks of the Pade-type Approximation methods. It was explained why and when the problem of the possibility of absolute instability will occur. The new idea of improving those methods was proposed, viz. in general it is necessary to represent the characteristic of the original system in the dominant middle-frequency more faithfully, instead of a mistaken effort to guarantee the absolute stability of model at the cost of a serious loss in similitude. Two typical examples were shown to verify the above analysis. |
