      本文详细介绍了遗传算法（GA）及其数学基础，遗传算法与传统优化方法的区别，总结了遗传算法的特点。同时给出了几种GA的改进方法和应用GA的要点。
英文摘要
      In this paper the mechanics of genetic algorithms and its mathematical foundations are introduced in detail. The characteristics which GA differs from traditional optimization algorithms are pointed out. Futher, this paper also proposes some advanced operators and techniques in GA. In the end, the main points of applying GA are given.
